I’m alive! I’m so happy that my surgery is over. I was so scared that I almost ran out of the operating room when they told me to lay down. I was a little worried because they found out that my cyst was a little deeper than anticipated so the surgery took longer and ended up costing a little bit more. How much more you ask? About $2. Yes, you heard right! One of the best things about South Korea; super cheap healthcare!
I freaking rocked my goals last week! In fact, I just went at it on Saturday and cleaned my entire apartment. It’s so clean in here that it almost freaks me out. Hopefully I will maintain it so that it doesn’t get that bad again. It was so dusty!
This Week’s Wishes
1. Journal every day after my classes have ended. This week is the start of the new year in South Korea, which means a new class of students. It is kind of scary to start over with a class having such low English. My kids go so far in a year! Especially in the beginning, I need to journal and reflect every day to be a better teacher.
2. Call up one of my friends from back home to touch base. I’ve been horrible about keeping in touch with some of my friends back home since I moved to Seoul last October. I really want to take some time to call them up on Skype and chat a little.
If you need some encouragement each week, link up to the Weekly Wishes link up over at The Nectar Collective. Let’s support each other with our goals while having fun!
