Excuse the goofy face, I just found Yalla Cono. When I saw their ad in front of Green Plaza, I knew I had to go. It brought back all the memories and the feels from when I first met my husband. One of our first “dates” was at a similar place that later closed down. I’ve never seen anything like it after that!
This place definitely ain’t fancy. It is literally a hole in the wall shop with outdoor seating that is situated in the street. It didn’t matter though, it was my memories that mattered. We were so young then. Sweet, sweet memories.
Now I ate the original pizza in a cone like ten years ago. So I don’t know if I can truly say if this was better or not. I remember it being delicious all those years ago. We grabbed some cheese fries too because ya’ know… who can say no to cheese fries? Or cheese on anything really? We both kind of decided that the cheesy fries were amazing and the actual pizza in a cone was… just OK.
We are definitely going back for those cheesy fries again. More importantly, I’m really happy I got to relive a happy memory again. What were your early date memories? Were they food related too? 😉
