I was talking to my friend who is pregnant, reminiscing about all of the wonderful, but stressful times of those first days out of the hospital. If you’ve kept up with me on social media, you’ll know I had a really hard time with breastfeeding because of my daughter’s tongue tie. My supply was suffering because of it, and I was desperately trying everything to keep the milk flowing.
Those days are long gone, but I definitely learned from them. I wish I would have prepared more healthy snacks for those sleepless days when I felt like I was starving all of the time because of the amount of breastfeeding that was going down. Our conversation got me thinking, and voila! These peanut butter date balls were born. I so wish I had some of these back then. They are super yummy, packed with healthy fats and refined sugar free.
