Another bakery post up on Mrs Gaeul. Shocker, right? My love for baked goods knows no bounds! My husband makes fun of me when I find a new bakery or restaurant and get super excited. I can’t help it, food just gets me excited. Nothing like tasting something absolutely delicious.
I’ll try anything once, no matter how expensive it is. Mozart Bakery in Okayama is definitely what I would classify as expensive… a tiny slice of cake is more than five dollars. The cakes were so beautifully displayed and inviting that I couldn’t resist. Not that I tried too hard to avoid it!
I’m so glad I went in, because I was in for a treat even though my wallet would cry over the next months to pacify my sweet tooth, hehe. I used to tote home my little box from their store every two weeks as a treat for myself. They set me up a little dry ice and I was golden!
I don’t know any other way to say this… Mozart Bakery is the bomb dot com. Seriously, everything you ever imagined a baked good to be is Mozart. They are expensive, but the taste is out of this world! The principal in my school also said that Mozart Bakery is very popular in Okayama… and I can definitely see why. When I left, she gave me two boxes of cookies from there that I would like to say I hoarded, but in reality I ate them all in a two day period. Haha!
I can’t wait to visit Japan again just so I can go to this bakery again. Definitely a must visit bakery in Okayama!
