Sweet, sweet bingsu. I can’t get enough of it! There are tons of flavors to choose from as the summer hits Korea so there is really something for everyone. Sadly my Seoul bingsu tour is ending as the cold weather hits! Most of the cafes are phasing out their bingsu options until next summer but you can always go to actual bingsu cafes to satisfy your craving during the cold months. I’m eating it as much as I can before it’s gone! Most recently, I tried the Milk Tea Snow Blossom bingsu from Chloris Tea and Coffee.
If you are a fan of milk tea you will definitely love this one. I was pretty psyched because I love milk tea! Since Chloris Tea and Coffee is a teahouse they use a really good quality milk tea to make it. It tastes really fresh and had a natural tea flavor that isn’t overpowering. It was really good! If you love tea, you definitely have to try any of their tea options. You won’t be disappointed!
For flavored bingsu, this one can’t be beat. It’s definitely one of my favorite ones and it can easily be found in major areas of Seoul. There is one on the main street of Hongdae and there is one in Gangnam as well. FYI, the same bingsu in Gangnam was more expensive for some reason.
Q: Have you ever tried bingsu?
To get to Chloris Tea and Coffee (Hongdae), take the subway to Hongik University Station and go straight out of exit 9. Turn left at the first major intersection and cross to the other side of the street. Walk straight towards Hongik University and Chloris Tea and Coffee will be on your right !
