Brunch is a fabulous thing. Too bad I’m discovering it so late in my life… my weekends are usually lazy or filled with a ton of chores to complete. These days I’ve been trying to treat myself a little better since work is really stressful so I’ve been having lazy Sundays the past few weeks. I usually make myself brunch but since my friend returned to Korea to do another year here we decided to meet up in Hannam-dong to grab a bite! I’m glad we both agreed to not wake up early, haha. We originally were going to Pancakes Original Story, but it was closed so we ended up a few doors down at Bim Bom Natural Kitchen & Cafe. Can we just talk about how dumb it is for a breakfast place to be closed on Sundays? That is bank time for breakfast and brunch!
Their menu was surprisingly extensive, brunch is served all day and the usual fare was there. The crepes were so tempting and they had pancakes and waffles as well.
Unfortunately, Bim Bom is not located very close to a subway station. I would recommend taking the subway to Hangangjin Station, getting out at exit 2 and jumping on the 110B bus. Take it three stops to the Hannam-dong stop and Bim Bom is right across the street. 🙂
