About Me

Taking joy in living is a woman’s best cosmetic. ~Rosalind Russell

I’m Autumn. I’m so much more than a short blurb can explain. My passion is trying to live the best life I can!

I’m graduated from college with the world wide open ahead of me. I love to travel and experience what the the world has to offer. I’m married to a wonderful man who indulges all of my craziness. Currently I’m living back home in Indiana where I teach preschool.

My blog is a mix of a little of everything, as life is! I’m not really trying to carve a niche here, although you will see some clear themes in my posts. My sweet tooth leads me to bake often, my career fills my time with children and learning and in my free time I love to hang out with friends, try new things and travel! I love playing around with fashion, finding great deals and embracing my girlyness through my clothing.

I am a Muslim, and my faith is a huge part of my life. I am also an American, another huge part of my identity. Part of the reason that I blog is to have the opportunity to dispel some of the misconceptions around Muslim Americans. I hope that my blog can be an opening to finding connections for peace.

I absolutely love connecting with readers online and truly appreciate every comment left! I hope you enjoy exploring my world with me on It’s Autumn’s Life, you are welcome to join me on the ride! <3

If you want to try a Korean drama, you should walk “To the Beautiful You”. I’m hooked on it right now! <3

    Hi Autumn,
I really enjoyed reading about your boy Iskander and the nifty cat hammock.

I have a question for you. This may not be the appropriate forum for this, but I’ll leave it to you to decide if you want to discuss this privately in email. Here it is – Tidy cats has recently changed their formula and I want to know if you have tried the new stuff. (You can tell the new formula by the lid – the new lid has no hinge.)

    Thanks in advance,
